Purpose-built rooms and residential capacity, with 50 acres of quiet around the work.
New Eden is a private retreat estate in the north of the Netherlands, designed by facilitators for immersive group work. More than 650 retreats and trainings have run on this land since 1997, including faculty-led facilitator programmes and month-long residencies, with over 10,000 participants served.
That experience shows in the practical details: every training room has its own sound system, the Temple bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms, the kitchen next to the dining room is a fully equipped commercial one, and the main room livestreams in multi-camera 4K. You will not need to explain what deep group work asks of a venue, because the team here understands what it takes to hold it.
Rachel Rickards, who brings the Field Facilitator Training here year after year, calls New Eden “the most comfortable, well-equipped retreat center” she has ever worked with.

What training rooms are on site?
Four rooms totalling 322 m², each with premium sound and its own character.
- 110 m²
The Temple main room
The largest room on the property, built with acoustic precision. It seats up to 100 theatre-style or 50 in a large circle, with a 10,000-watt sound system, adjustable lighting including full blackout blinds, and optional staging, handheld and headset microphones.
Explore the Temple - 82 m²
The meditation room
Across the hall from the main room, with soft natural light, forest views and its own sound system. It seats up to 50 theatre-style or 25 in a circle, which makes it a natural second track or breakout space for a multi-stream training.
- 78 m²
The Dome
A 10-metre geodesic dome at the House, fully insulated, with heating, air conditioning and a 5,000-watt sound system with dedicated subwoofer. Thick floor mats make it ready for movement and floor-based work straight away.
Explore the House - 52 m²
The Almond Room
A warm room inside the House for up to 20 people, with plenty of natural light and its own sound system. When a training does not need it as a workshop space, it can be converted into a dormitory.
Can we run a hybrid or livestreamed training?
Yes. The main room in the Temple is livestream-ready, with multi-camera 4K capability and high-end AV equipment, built for both in-person and online delivery. Handheld and headset microphones are included, and the adjustable ambient lighting, with full blackout blinds, means the room can be set for filming as easily as for quiet inward work.
For offsites that mix training sessions with laptop time, the House has a cosy attic-style lounge that works as a co-working nook, and its main lounge hides a home cinema setup with a dropdown projector screen for evening screenings.

Can the whole group stay on site?
Yes. The Temple building sleeps 49 across 20 rooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom, in double, triple and a few quad configurations. Four handcrafted tiny homes in the trees add 14 more beds, each with two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom, well suited to trainers and assistants who want quiet at the end of a teaching day.
The House sleeps up to 35 across seven characterful bedrooms, its tiny homes and the self-contained Pool House, and can be set up for single occupancy for smaller leadership groups. Booked as exclusive use, the whole property offers 85 beds, and camping can take total capacity past 100.
Meals happen in the dining room with its central log fire, next to the fully equipped commercial kitchen. Bring your own chef, or we can connect you with one of our trusted culinary partners. Between sessions there are forest trails, a wood-fired sauna that fits 12 to 15 people, an outdoor fire circle and a pond.
